On 13th February, 1915, the 1st Honourable Artillery Company battalion of 7 Brigade, 3rd Division left their billets in Locre and moved into the front line at Kemmel where they remained until relieved on 19th February. Maurice Fuchsbalg died from wounds on 23rd February after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast and it is likely that he was wounded during this period spent in the trenches. |
